The precious Black Truffle, has a very intense and aromatic scent. It grows in hilly and mountainous areas in symbiosis with oak, English oak and hazel. Commercially it is considered the most prized after the white truffle. The collection period usually runs from November to March.
Product life: 1 to 2 weeks, kept into a refrigerator at 37.5 F (3 C), wrapped in paper towel.
Do not clean the truffle until you are ready to use it.
To clean it, gently remove any dirt that remains with a soft brush.
